Creating a Rudimentary Selection System
In this final part of the breakout session we attempt to create a rudimentary Synthetic Validity system by crowdsourcing estimates of experts (like yourself). We will be using a simplified version of our Subject Matter Expert estimation process. Specifically, we will be asking you to estimate the correlations between several commonly used predictors of performance (a.o., GMA and big five) and three different occupations (i.e., business intelligence analyst, sales manager, and industrial mechanic). These estimates serve to (1) determine the weight or importance of selection criteria for different occupations and (2) predict people's performance on occupations based on their selection test scores.
In case you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us by sending an email to Colin Lee (firstname.lastname@example.org) or via the contact form in the help menu of the survey.
Thank you for participating and good luck filling out the estimates!
